由於大煙囪廠房即將迎來下一階段的整修工程，雞寶們將遷移至陽明交大的新雞舍，繼續擔任推廣保溫精神的任務。
在大煙囪下的保溫雞舍最後一天，三隻雞寶難得全壘打，每一位都替大煙囪留下最後一顆蛋，然後準備啟程上路。
聽聞雞寶要搬新家的消息，保溫舍工們主動跑來協助，同時也想見證這歷史性的一刻。有開車前來幫忙載雞寶到新家的、有從台北下來幫雞寶新家裝潢做最後趕工的、也有媽媽帶小小舍工來幫忙整理新家環境。在眾人的協助下，雞寶們順利在太陽下山前入住。
雞寶們一進新家就挖土坑找東西吃，完全不怕生。不過正事還是得做，就是要先認識新的產蛋房跟睡覺的棲架，於是一隻一隻抱起來到新的產房跟棲架上，跟她們說這裡的用途。
為了確保雞寶們入住的第一晚睡得安穩，一路待到天色變暗，雞寶們準備上棲架睡覺的時候。看著雞寶撐不住的眼皮，在最後離開前跟她們說：「辛苦了，接下來在新的保溫雞舍也請多多指教！」
The second phase of renovation is about to commence at the Big Chimney Factory, and as a result, the chickens will be relocated to a new chicken coop on the Hsinchu campus of Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU). Their mission of promoting a sustainable urban lifestyle will continue in their new home.
On their final day at the chicken coop beneath the big chimney, the three hens achieved a rare feat by laying a total of three eggs before they were ready to embark on their journey. The news of the chickens’ relocation attracted volunteers who wanted to witness this historic moment. Some arrived by car to assist in transporting the chickens, while others came from Taipei to help decorate the new chicken coop. Several mothers even brought their children along to help prepare the new environment for the chickens. With everyone’s support, the chickens settled into their new home smoothly before the day came to a close.
Upon their arrival, the chickens wasted no time in digging pits to find food, showing no fear of their new surroundings. However, there were still important matters to attend to, such as familiarizing them with the new egg-laying area and sleeping roost. So, I gently carried each chicken to the new delivery room and roost, explaining the purpose of each place.
In order to ensure that the chickens could sleep peacefully on their first night, the volunteers stayed until dusk, when the chickens were ready to roost. Observing their drooping eyelids, the volunteers expressed their gratitude and said, “Thank you for your hard work. Please share your feedback on the new chicken coop!”
